WHO IS AMY D'APRIX?
Amy D'Aprix, or "Dr. Amy" as she is affectionately called, provides caregivers with expert information and support to help them deal with the emotional and family issues that are a common part of caregiving.
Amy is an inspiring speaker, coach, author, and expert on aging, retirement, and caregiving. She began working with seniors and their families more than 30 years ago and was a caregiver to her parents for 10 years.

WHO IS JULIA SPEARS?
Julia serves as Chief Operating Officer for Elder Stay At Home, Inc. (ESAH), the exclusive world-wide distributor of the Schmieding Home Caregiver Training curriculum and content, focused on training individuals – both professionals as well as family/volunteer caregivers – on providing quality, compassionate care for older adults in ahome setting. Julia began working with ESAH in 2012 and has served in her current position since 2015. As COO, she manages all business operations, including all marketing efforts.
Julia was born and raised in Northwest Arkansas, where having a geriatrician for a father and a social worker for a mother provided her with anextensive understanding of the board needs of our elderly population from an early age.
After graduating from the University of Arkansas with a B.A. in Art and Minor in Marketing, Julia served as the corporate Marketing Coordinator for United Built Homes, a multi-state residential housing development company. Following her time with United Built, Juliaspent a year in the non-profit world, as aMarketing and Public Relations Coordinator for Heifer International, an international hunger relief non-profit headquartered in Little Rock.
When her children were young, Julia took a hiatus from the business world, teaching graphic design courses at the high school level. This experience provided her with a strong understanding of curriculum design and content presentation to reach various types of learners.
On a personal level, Julia has served as the primary caregiver for her grandmother for several years and has learned firsthand the importance and value of proper caregiver training.
